Blackpool, a regenerating town ?

This work started off as a a sort of documentary type story of a town that claims its on the mend.As we all know Blackpool has undergone a lot of change recently to try and restore the once prime holiday spot. Since doing this work i have noticed that Blackpool is far from regenerated/restored. My work explores this idea of dead space.

i produced this image initially as part of my autobiography project since then i have submitted it to the Grundy art fair and it is currently being displayed.

animal instincts

I produced these images as part of a current one week brief project at college. These images were made as a mock up for a potential fashion magazine. The subject matter i chose to explore was animal instincts. These two images explore this in two different ways, one is more obvious and the other more subtle.

The Question

Auto biography project

I started this project a while back but it really took off with my grandmothers death. The idea of this project was to try and show/replicate my feelings and thoughts.I wanted my images to provide an insight into how i feel and how confused i was at the time.

This is my attempt of recreating this particular image. This image is part of my self portrait brief, the concept behind my project is instead of trying to portray who i am i want to explore who i could of been through out different time periods.
